Ocean Roads Realty is committed to making a donation after each closing in an effort to give back to organizations or individuals who are dedicated to helping others in need. This month, we decided to focus upon a global project dedicated to improving the life of men, woman, and children in Haiti. This donation exhibits support to Grace Roebuck (Marie Theriault's daughter) and Vassar College because Grace was one of the 10 students chosen to participate in the March 2017 service trip to Haiti. This project focuses upon Education, Reforestation, Medical Care, and Water Purification initiatives. These volunteers will embark upon a rigorous ten-day trip on March 11, 2017. They will spend most nights sleeping on concrete floors in mosquito tents with sleeping bags, eat a modest meal and conserve every drop of clean water they find. They will not have the luxury of a shuttle or taxi, instead they will hike to the village. I am confident that these amazing volunteers will return from Haiti with a heart and soul full of love and gratitude.
