On April 26th, I had the honor of invitation to the annual breakfast for the South County Habitat for Humanity, Rhode Island. While sitting at my table amongst many others who dedicate their time, resources, and skills to those in need, I felt overwhelmed with gratitude. As the presentation began, I realized, for the 1st time, that I would be meeting the Chabot family - a mother and son, whose struggles were beyond comprehension. Ironically, I learned of their story in January and chose to present the 1st donation on behalf of Ocean Roads Realty to the Chabot Family. When Ms. Chabot began to speak, with her son by her side, I held back both tears of joy and disbelief of their life story. Yet, I also felt the intense luxury of giving back and I thought of the exceptional clients who choose Ocean Roads Realty. On behalf of our clients, we were able to contribute, once again, to Habitat for Humanity - an organization committed to changing lives for people in need of a decent place to live.
